What is the scholarship?
The Lincoln Manufacturing Council will fund educational opportunities for individuals with manufacturing experience who need economic assistance to advance their careers. This funding is only available through 2024, so take advantage now! Lincoln presents many opportunities to grow your manufacturing career, and LMC wants to help you get there by funding certain classes and providing wraparound support.
Who should apply?
You may be a good candidate for this scholarship if you meet at least one of the following criteria:
- You have taken the Manufacturing Skills Certificate (Level 2)
- You are currently employed in manufacturing at a Lincoln Manufacturing Council company
- You have previous manufacturing experience and need to gain skills to find a manufacturing role with greater opportunities for economic advancement
- You are experiencing economic hardship, are a member of a Tribal government, are an immigrant or refugee, and/or qualify for government assistance programs
What can the scholarship cover?
This scholarship is intended to cover individual classes to help recipients take their career to the next level.
Many classes may be available upon request, but here are some existing classes to start:
