About LMC

Membership & Support

Membership

The Lincoln Manufacturing Council is led by local manufacturers and supported by partners and sponsors who are committed to strengthening Lincoln’s manufacturing workforce.

Manufacturing Members are the industry voice of LMC and help shape the training, career awareness, and workforce strategies for the Lincoln area. Members play a direct role in identifying workforce needs and guiding the Council’s priorities.

LMC also works closely with education, workforce, and other community partners who help deliver programs and expand awareness of manufacturing careers.

Non-manufacturing businesses and organizations may support LMC as sponsors. Sponsors help sustain LMC’s work as a workforce development initiative and demonstrate their support for Lincoln’s manufacturing sector and broader economic growth.

Champions— $5,000/year

Champion Manufacturing Members make the highest level of investment in LMC and help guide the Council’s strategic direction.

Champion Manufacturing Members receive a seat on the LMC Advisory Board, which meets quarterly and serves as the Council’s main industry engagement mechanism. These members help identify workforce needs, review program direction, and shape priorities related to training, youth engagement, and industry awareness.

Supporters— $2,000/year

Supporting Manufacturing Members are manufacturers that actively invest in LMC and want a formal role in industry guidance.

Supporting Manufacturing Members also receive a seat on the LMC Advisory Board and provide regular input on hiring needs, workforce challenges, training priorities, and opportunities for employer engagement.

Contributors— $500/year

Contributing Manufacturing Members are manufacturers that want to stay connected to LMC, support the talent pipeline, and engage in programs and events as opportunities arise.

Contributing Manufacturing Members may take part in class presentations, job fairs, tours, job shadows, annual meetings, youth career exposure activities, and other Council opportunities.
