Manufacturing Basics Certificate Program

The Lincoln Manufacturing Council invites you to participate in the Manufacturing Basics Certificate Program, a hands‑on learning experience designed to help you build practical skills, gain industry exposure, and prepare for a rewarding career in manufacturing.
This program is ideal for individuals looking to enter the manufacturing field and wanting a clear starting point. If you're curious about the industry but aren’t sure where to begin, this class offers accessible, entry‑level training along with real‑world, hands‑on experiences that help you build confidence and explore career opportunities. You’ll also gain valuable exposure to local employers who are ready to support your next step.
What You’ll Experience
Throughout the program, participants will:
- Learn the fundamentals of manufacturing through hands‑on activities
- Take part in company tours to see local manufacturing in action
- Receive instruction from industry professionals
- Build essential workplace skills that employers value
- Participate in a job fair with local manufacturing partners
This course is designed to help you gain confidence, understand industry expectations, and connect with employers who are actively hiring.
